Christian Potier is a celebrated French chef who was trained by the head chef of the last Russian Czar. If that's not enough culinary pedigree for you, he also participated in the making of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation cake in 1953! Chef Potier had an idea to develop all the classic French mother sauces for the common public (us!), in easy formats that didn't require any cooking but didn't sacrifice quality or flavor. Thus his line of gourmet, single-serve packaged sauces was created, all incredibly flavorful and suitable for the microwave. Old fashioned French flavor plus modern convenience!
