The spirit was aged for between 10 and 30 years before it was bottled in May of 2012 to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary. Only 2,012 bottles were made. Nose: Rich, intense spices, dried apricots and rose petals. Peppery and slightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Very inviting. Palate: Creamy honey and all kinds of fruit and spice. Hints of truffle, allspice and butterscotch. Finish: Baked apples, baking spices and cigar leaves. A very spicy, almost musty finish. Overall: An intense and spicy Armagnac with rich notes of dried fruits and just a hint of umami.
